On our first day, my good friend Jed sponsored our Coron Nxtcapade tour (₱1,200 per pax) with Nice in Paradise Travel and Tours. Our first stop is Malcapuya Island. The sea was so calm that it made our 1.5 hour boat ride to the island very smooth and relaxing.
Our tour guide allowed us to sit at the bow giving us that front row view of Coron and its surrounding islands. ;)
Most of the island visitors come to Malcapuya for a day tour. Boats 'park' at the back of the island.
Here's Kuya Larry with Jed. If you're interested to get him as your tour guide, here's his number: +639283870205.
I couldn't believe how amazing the view was while we're approaching the shore.
The place was literally heaven on earth.
It's soooo beautiful that words cannot explain how I'm feeling as I type this down. Gusto ko umiyak sa sobrang ganda nung beach.
Here's a panoramic shot of the beach front using my iPhone.
We didn't waste any time and hurriedly jumped to the cool blue waters of Malcapuya Island. We spotted a school of small fish just a few meters away from the shore.
But just a few minutes into snorkeling, I had to get out of the water when Kuya Larry spotted this jelly fish swimming nearby. Isha caught it on cam! Here's a screenshot. Baka ma-Anne Curtis ako no! Haha.
While waiting, I re-applied my favorite (VMV's Armada Sport 70) sunblock to protect my skin from the harmful rays of the sun. It's a little expensive but trust me, it is worth every penny. Slow clap for VMV for giving me that perfect tan! ;)
Anyway, here's another view of the beach from the nearby hill. Ang ganda talaga!

I'm so glad we got to experience the island now. I heard from Kuya Larry that the island recently got acquired by the Henann Group of Resorts (who also own Boracay Regency). They plan to build and convert the island into a 5-star luxury resort which is set to be the next big thing in Coron.
