Tongsai Grand Villas

Introduction: The Tongsai Grand Villas are situated high on the hillside to the south of the bay. Each spectacular villa is luxuriously furnished and features a vast open air terrace complete with signature “bath with a view”, 4 poster bed with mosquito net, bar, pantry, dining area and sun loungers. The sea views are far reaching and the sense of privacy and tranquillity is astounding!

Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.



My arrival experience: Warm welcome with a drink and towel before being escorted to the room.

What I loved: The wonderful grand villa.

What about the food: OK food. The breakfast buffet could be improved, while the lunch was quite food. I would definitely say acceptable for a Small Luxury Hotels of the World-property, but far from Hansar or Conrad in Samui that have much better food to offer. It all depends on your own priorities and expectations.

What about the service: Smiling and friendly staff. More training of some of the staff would improve the overall experience.

What about the rooms: Stunning villas. I stayed in one of the grand villas with large swimming pool, outdoor bathtub, comfortable bed, rainshower and double sink.

Number of rooms: 83 in the whole complex, however the 15 grand villas are part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
