Introduction: Welcome to O Monot, a new boutique hotel conveniently situated in the heart of Beirut. Named after its setting on Rue Monot and tucked away behind pretty Saifi Village in historic Ashrafieh, the hotel is in a fabulous spot to explore the neighborhoods.

Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.

What I loved: The contemporary design.
What about the food: The breakfast was good, but they, unfortunately, allow smoking in the breakfast room as probably the only SLH-property in the room. It is the culture and you will have to deal with it if you want to visit Beirut.
What about the service: Very friendly and professional staff. Surely up to the standards of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Perfect English level and always helpful.
What about the rooms: Beautiful contemporary rooms with comfortable bed, standalone rain shower, flat screen Tv and working desk.
Number of rooms: 41.
