Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.
My arrival experience: Disorganized check-in. Arrived late and had to wait long to check in. Maybe 20 minutes. Not good enough.
What I loved: The beautifully designed building.
What about the food: Disappointing breakfast buffet. Should have much better quality. The bread was close to inedible.
What about the service: The staff is kind, but I expected better for a 5-star hotel, even in Angola. More training is needed.
What about the rooms: The main selling point at Talatona is the rooms. They are indeed lovely. My room had a comfortable bed, flatscreen Tv, working desk and a modern bathroom with separate rain shower and L'Occitane products.
