It was fun learning about the history of Osaka Castle but we're really not the type of travelers who enjoy temple hopping. #JustSaying Let's move on to the fun part of Osaka, shall we? :)
Check out the Osaka Station City in Umeda. Their station looks like an airport, ganda!
Our first stop is our favorite store Yodobashi Camera. Yodobashi is a chain store in Japan selling mostly electronic products. This is where I got my Apple and Fujifilm gadgets back in February 2014.
Apart from electronics they also sell watches, perfumes, bags, etc. May mga washi tapes pa! ;) But if you're into arts and other anik-anik then I suggest you look for Tokyu Hands or Loft stores.
There are department stores right outside the Osaka station so hindi ka na rin tatamarin coz nakakatuwa mag window shopping. :)
After our quick trip in Umeda, we went straight to Dotonbori in Namba area.
Dotonbori is best seen at night and is one of Osaka's most popular tourist destinations, this street runs parallel to the Dotonbori canal. It is a popular shopping and entertainment district and is also known as a food destination where most restaurants are open for 24 hours. At night it is lit by hundreds of neon lights and mechanized signs, including the famous Glico Running Man sign and Kani Doraku crab sign.
Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade and the surrounding Shinsaibashi area is Osaka's premiere shopping center. Approximately 600m long, this area is unique as it combines chain retail stores and trendy boutiques with expensive department stores and top designer fashion labels.
I have no idea why the Glico Running Man sign is not lit that night. Kapag minamalas ka nga naman.
Here's the Kani Doraku crab sign.
We didn't bought anything in Osaka, literal na sight seeing lang and non-stop walkathon. We walked for another 30 minutes going back to Roman's apartment just to get a feel of Namba area.
In case you're wondering where we ate while in Osaka? Convenience stores and groceries of course! Hahaha. We're not a fan of ramen so puro sushi lang kami and in all fairness to the quality of sushi in the said stores ha, not bad! Lasang fresh naman siya. LOL.

Watch out for my next post when we spent our Halloween in Universal Studios Japan! ;)
