Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.

My arrival experience: Warm welcome from Daniel Lordis, the Director of Sales & Marketing. Quick check-in before being escorted to the room.
What I loved: The contemporary design.
What about the food: Good food and vegetarian-friendly. The service at the restaurant much better than you can expect in Nigeria.
What about the service: Great and professional service in all areas of the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised.
What about the rooms: One of the best rooms I have seen from Radisson Blu anywhere. My room had a beautiful, contemporary design, comfortable bed, working desk, flat screen Tv, bathtub and separate rain shower in the bathroom.

Park Inn By Radisson Abeokuta

Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel is not the only hotel Radisson in Nigeria. Park Inn by Radisson in Abeokuta, located around 100 km from Lagos, is another one. It is not up to the standards of the Lagos hotel, but it is a very comfortable hotel that certainly is up to Park Inn's standards. 

The hotel located in a different state than Lagos and it was interesting to see a different part of Nigeria. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. Jonathan Yusuf is a talented chef and I loved his roasted potatoes.

I can highly recommend combining a visit to Lagos with a day or two in Abeokuta. It will also give you the chance to experience Olumo Rock, a beautiful tourist attraction I enjoyed and recommend.
