The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya

Introduction: Rising above the mesmerizing blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea, The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya brings a cool contemporary elegance to a treasured ancient land, a unique oasis among luxury hotels in this coastal retreat of Tel Aviv. With guest rooms and suites that reveal stunning marina views, a rooftop pool and bar for sunning and socializing, a sumptuous spa, and the first Ritz-Carlton kosher restaurant in the world, this exquisite luxury Herzliya hotel expertly blends the modern and the traditional for an exhilarating Israeli experience.

Above information is how the hotel presents itself on their website.

Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.

My arrival experience: Warm welcome from the staff before they escorted me to the room.
What I loved: The unusual design.
What about the food: I am not a breakfast person, so I can't comment on that, but my lunch and dinner at Herbert Samuel Restaurant was two of my best meals in the Middle East. Vegetarian-friendly as well.
What about the service: Professional service in all areas of the hotel. The restaurant staff is especially friendly.
What about the rooms: Beautiful, contemporary rooms, unlike any Ritz-Carlton hotel I have stayed. Comfortable bed and working desk in the bedroom, while the bathroom had a rain shower, separate bathtub, and Asprey products. Only downside is the noise level, where you can easily hear people talking from your bed. Don't know if it can be fixed, but it is something I very much dislike.
Number of rooms: 197.
Website: www.ritzcarlton.com/herzliya
Type of property: Something between a business hotel and a lifestyle hotel.
Location: Herzliya, Israel.
Facilities: Pool, spa, gym, and business/meeting facilities.
Complimentary internet: Yes and fast.
My overall impression: Great+ experience. A beautiful hotel with great service and one level above most Ritz-Carlton hotels I have seen. The different design and excellent food make me rate it as a Great+ hotel experience.
