Above information is how the hotel presents itself on their website.
Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.
My arrival experience: Warm welcome from the kind staff before being escorted to the room.
What I loved: To find this level of a world-class boutique hotel in Lagos.
What about the food: OK food, but at the same time something that could be improved. I was more impressed with other areas of the hotel. Properly the only point where I found their competitors better.
What about the service: Great and professional staff. Pleasantly surprised with the high service level.
What about my room: Lovely contemporary room with a great bed, working desk, flat screen Tv, bathtub and rain shower.
Number of rooms: 61.
Website: www.thegeorgelagos.com
Type of property: City hotel.
Location: Lagos, Nigeria.
Facilities: Pool, gym and business/meeting facilities.
Complimentary internet: Yes and very fast. Faster than in most luxury hotels in the world. Very impressive and another reason to stay here.
Affiliations: None, but could easily be a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
My overall impression: Great experience. My favourite hotel in Lagos. Better staff, internet and atmosphere than it's competitors.
