Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.
My arrival experience: Friendly check-in from Anna at the reception. No escort to the room.
What I loved: The design and convenient location for exploring Helsinki.
What about the food: An acceptable small breakfast buffet. Some items were missing like impacted yogurt, but overall an acceptable buffet.
What about the service: Friendly service from Anna at the reception. I didn't interact any other staff members during my stay so it's hard to have an overall picture of the service besides this. The General Manager is friendly on e-mail and replied fast.
What about my room: Beautiful bouqitue-styled room with comfortable bed, rain shower, flat screen Tv, working desk and a local welcome amenity snack.
Number of rooms: 120.
Website: www.helsinki-boulevard.hotelindigo.com
Type of property: City hotel.
Location: Helinski, Finland.
Facilities: Sauna, gym and
Complimentary internet: Yes and fast.
My overall impression: Good+ experience. It's a very good boutique hotel and certainly a lot better than Klaus K Hotel in direct comparison.
Finnair flew me from Copenhagen to Helsinki and back. Both flights were pleasant and I enjoyed flying them for the first time. They have just introduced a new route from Billund, their second airport to serve in Denmark.
